Seldén Furlex 104S is for smaller yacht forestays using 4 mm, 5 mm or 6 mm wire, with complete-kit lengths from 8.10 m to 12.90 m.
It is typically used on yachts around 22–30 ft. Select the wire diameter, a supplied length long enough for the finished forestay, and either the standard Sta-Lok terminal or integrated rigging-screw version.
Ask our rigging team if you want the existing forestay specification checked before ordering.

The 104S has a compact seven-kit range:
These figures are the maximum forestay wire lengths supplied with each kit. The wire is cut to the finished length required by the yacht during installation.
| Wire | Length | Standard | With Rigging Screw |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 mm | 8.10 m | 030-020-51 | 030-020-61 |
| 4 mm | 10.50 m | 030-020-52 | 030-020-62 |
| 5 mm | 8.10 m | 030-020-53 | 030-020-63 |
| 5 mm | 10.50 m | 030-020-54 | 030-020-64 |
| 5 mm | 12.90 m | 030-020-55 | 030-020-65 |
| 6 mm | 10.50 m | 030-020-56 | 030-020-66 |
| 6 mm | 12.90 m | 030-020-57 | 030-020-67 |
Standard kits use the Sta-Lok mechanical terminal supplied with the Furlex. Choose the rigging-screw version when adjustment of the installed forestay length is required at the lower Furlex assembly.
For a replacement installation, record the existing forestay wire diameter and finished length. It is also useful to check the lower clevis-pin size, tack position and halyard lead before the old equipment is removed.
If the existing forestay is larger than 6 mm, see the Seldén Furlex range comparison for 204S, 304S and 404S options.
Contact Martin Leaning Masts & Rigging if you would like us to check the measurements before ordering.
Step by step installation video from the beginning until you leave the dock with your new Furlex system. A "must-see" video if you are installing for the first time. Enjoy!
