Marlow Blue Ocean® Doublebraid is a durable, low-stretch recycled polyester rope for cruising yacht halyards and sheets. Choose your required 8–14 mm diameter, finished length, splice and end fitting below to build a replacement line ready to install. Select either simple cut ends or professional splicing and rope terminations. If you are adding a fitting, please select the appropriate splice; otherwise a whipping is recommended to secure the end of the rope. If you are unsure about diameter, length, splice or fitting, our riggers are happy to advise. Please get in touch. You can measure your existing halyards and sheets using the example above, or send the old lines to us to use as templates.

We recommend a Cow Hitch Splice on the end of a Dyneema Halyard. This allows most types of fittings to be attached, and you can purchase a shackle here. D12 78 is Marlow's premium range of pre-stretched 12-strand ropes manufactured using bio-based Dyneema SK78 and is available in sizes up to 22mm diameter.
