This deck protector has been designed to fit into the outboard end of any Seldén dinghy boom to protect the deck of the boat from the boom when it is dropped into the boat. The simple composite fitting is pushed into the lower track, so it be easily fitted to existing as well as new dinghy booms.

Seldén Boom End Deck Protector 511-804 is a simple nylon protective pad for Seldén dinghy and keelboat booms. It clips into the lower track at the outboard end of the boom and helps prevent the boom extrusion from scratching or marking the deck or gelcoat when the boom is lowered into the boat, for example while hoisting or dropping the mainsail. The push-fit design makes it straightforward to add to an existing compatible boom as well as to a new installation. A small, inexpensive fitting that can prevent repeated cosmetic damage around the cockpit or foredeck.
