Premium low-stretch double braid halyard rope with a durable blue fleck cover, ideal for cruising and performance yachts. Marlow Blue Ocean® Halyards combine excellent handling, high strength and low elongation, making them suitable for mainsail, genoa and spinnaker halyards. Manufactured using recycled polyester yarn as part of Marlow’s environmentally conscious BLUE OCEAN® initiative, these ropes deliver reliable sailing performance with reduced environmental impact.

Marlow Blue Ocean® Halyards are a high-quality all-round solution for cruising and club racing yachts requiring dependable low-stretch running rigging. Designed for excellent handling and durability, these ropes feature a robust polyester cover with a distinctive blue fleck finish and a low-elongation core for improved sail control and reduced stretch under load.

Suitable for use as mainsail halyards, genoa halyards and general control lines, Marlow Blue Ocean® ropes provide smooth operation through mast sheaves, rope clutches and self-tailing winches. The abrasion-resistant cover offers excellent grip and long service life, even in demanding marine environments.

Part of Marlow’s BLUE OCEAN® sustainability programme, these halyards are manufactured using recycled rPET polyester yarn derived from recycled plastic bottles. This helps reduce waste and reliance on virgin petroleum-based materials while maintaining the same strength, handling and durability expected from premium marine rope.

Ideal for a wide range of sailing yachts, Blue Ocean® Halyards deliver an excellent balance of strength, flexibility, sustainability and value, making them a popular choice for both replacement rigging and new installations.
