The drum and top swivel are fitted with double stainless steel ball bearings, which evenly distribute radial loads and reduce friction—ensuring smooth furling even under tension.
The drum and cover are made from glass fibre-reinforced polyamide, offering excellent strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance. This keeps the system light without compromising durability.
The line exit fairlead on the drum cover can be oriented in multiple positions, allowing you to fine-tune the furling line angle for clean lead and minimal chafe.
The top swivel is tapered to fit narrow forestay angles and includes low-friction stainless bearings to prevent halyard twist and ensure consistent furling.
