The furler section is useful for checking whether the existing forestay system should be retained, replaced or considered alongside a wider furling upgrade. Factory options and later refits can produce meaningful differences between sisterships, particularly around the forestay, furler, mast terminals and lower attachment points. Before manufacture, confirm every stay’s material and diameter, finished length, upper and lower terminal type, pin size, rigging-screw thread and the complete forestay or furler interface.
