For the Westerly Ocean 43, the information below is intended as a model-level planning tool rather than a substitute for checking the rig actually fitted to the yacht. The running-rigging table gives a separate starting point for halyards and sheets, so rope replacement can be planned without confusing it with the standing-rigging specification. The existing yacht should therefore take priority over any generic model assumption, especially where a mast, furler or set of rigging screws has been replaced before. The final check should identify each stay individually and capture wire size, finished length, terminal geometry, pin diameters, rigging screws and any furler components that determine the forestay length.
