The Dufour 29 rigging guide is designed to help owners scope a replacement project before any parts are manufactured. Winch guidance is kept as an optional deck-equipment item, which helps distinguish a core re-rig from upgrades that may be desirable but are not essential to the stay set. A previous owner may have changed the furler, turnbuckles or mast hardware without altering the overall rig plan, so those details should be recorded before a new set is ordered. Where measurements are being supplied remotely, clear photographs of every upper and lower termination should accompany the finished lengths, wire sizes, pin diameters and rigging-screw details.
