The Oyster UFO 34 is a Holman & Pye design developed from the successful UFO racing design and was one of the early yachts associated with Oyster, with well over 100 built from 1974 onwards. Around 10.48 m LOA, it uses a masthead sloop rig. This guide combines published dimensions with model-specific assumptions for standing rigging, furler, mast, boom and running rigging. Boats of this age often have replacement spars, furlers or altered deck layouts, so wire sizes, terminals and fitted equipment should be checked on the individual yacht before ordering replacement rigging.
