Hunter Legend 45 uses a B&R-style rig, so its standing-rigging layout should not be treated like that of a conventional masthead cruiser. Our model data records 14.23 m LOA and produced from 1985 to 1987. For replacement work, the diagonal and shroud layout, spreader geometry and the presence or absence of a conventional backstay need checking on the actual yacht. Wire diameters, finished lengths, mast terminal styles, chainplate pins and rigging-screw threads should then be confirmed, together with the forestay and any fitted headsail furling system.
