This product covers Seldén electric retrofit kits for the Furlex 400S, 400TD, 404S and 404TD families. Separate above-deck kits are provided for 12mm and 14mm forestays, together with dedicated through-deck retrofit kits.
The conversion uses the 404E control-pack family and Seldén's 42V electric drive system.

This retrofit product covers both the earlier Furlex 400 family and the later 404 family, including above-deck S-to-E and through-deck TD-to-TDE conversions.
The current 404 electric drive system operates at 42V through the appropriate Seldén PSU and develops a maximum torque of 135 Nm.

The appropriate retrofit kit is combined with the required control pack. A compatible Seldén power-supply installation is also required; see our Power Supply Unit start packs.
The retrofit kit depends on both the Furlex generation and whether the installation is above deck or through deck. For S-type systems the forestay diameter must also be confirmed as 12mm or 14mm.
