The Seldén Furlex 404E is the high-load electric model for 12mm and 14mm forestays. Its electric drive develops up to 135 Nm and provides two-speed powered furling for larger headsail installations.
Available configurations cover forestays up to 22.5m with standard Sta-Lok, integrated rigging-screw or swaged-terminal arrangements. Separate 404E control packs are available for Genoa, Cutter or installations where control buttons are supplied elsewhere.

Returning Your Order - Our policy
The Furlex 404E is Seldén's electric Furlex system for installations using 12mm or 14mm forestay wire. With maximum drive torque of 135 Nm, it is intended for the higher loads associated with larger headsails and forestays.
The system uses Seldén electric control equipment and two-speed operation. A suitable power supply and control pack are selected to suit the yacht and control arrangement.
The above-deck 404E is available in five standard forestay configurations. The rigging-screw versions use different Seldén part numbers from the standard Sta-Lok versions:

These control-pack references are specific to the 400/404E family and are selected in addition to the appropriate Furlex assembly.
Seldén also provides electric conversion equipment for compatible manual Furlex systems. If you are considering converting an existing 404S or other compatible Furlex installation, we recommend checking the current Furlex model, forestay diameter and installation arrangement before selecting components.
