Seldén Furlex Electric Retrofit & Upgrade Kits

This retrofit package converts a legacy Seldén Furlex 200S to electric operation. Separate kits are available for 6mm, 7mm and 8mm forestays, allowing the existing manual Furlex installation to be upgraded rather than replaced as a complete system. The electric retrofit retains the existing sail luff length and uses the current 204E control-pack family. Convert an existing Seldén Furlex 204S to electric operation using the dedicated 204E retrofit kits for 6mm, 7mm and 8mm forestays. The manual furling drum, line and line-guard arrangement is replaced by the Furlex Electric drive while the existing sail luff length is retained. Select the correct retrofit kit for the forestay diameter together with the required 204E Genoa, Cutter or no-button control pack. This product covers Seldén electric retrofit kits for the Furlex 400S, 400TD, 404S and 404TD families. Separate above-deck kits are provided for 12mm and 14mm forestays, together with dedicated through-deck retrofit kits. The conversion uses the 404E control-pack family and Seldén's 42V electric drive system. The Seldén Furlex 304S to 304E retrofit adds powered furling to an existing manual 304S installation. Kits are available for 8mm and 10mm forestays, with the existing sail luff length retained during the conversion. Choose the correct forestay-size retrofit kit and combine it with the appropriate 304E Genoa, Cutter or no-button control pack. Upgrade a legacy Seldén Furlex 300S to electric furling using the dedicated retrofit kits for 8mm and 10mm forestays. The conversion replaces the manual furling drive components while retaining the existing sail luff length. Choose one PSU Start pack per boat and one Control pack per drive unit. The packages are designed to include the minimum items necessary for a complete, standard installation. For systems with many drive units or long cable distances, additional cable lengths and sizes might be needed.  Seldén Power Supply and SEL-Bus system can be extended at any time by adding extra drive unit(s) and respective control pack.
