Returning Your Order - Our policy
Our custom dinghy standing rigging is manufactured using KOS 1x19 stainless steel wire in the sizes available through this product, from 2.5mm to 4mm.
1x19 wire is widely used for dinghy shrouds and stays because its construction provides high strength and low stretch while remaining suitable for conventional standing-rigging terminal fittings.
Use the product options above to specify the standing rigging you require. You will normally need to confirm:
If you need help identifying an eye, fork, T-terminal or other fitting, see our standing rigging terminal guide.
For detailed measuring instructions, see our guide to ordering custom dinghy standing rigging.
We can manufacture individual replacement shrouds and stays or a complete set of standing rigging for a dinghy or small keelboat.
If you do not have reliable measurements, you can send your existing rigging to our Port Solent workshop and we can use it as a template. This can be particularly useful where terminal dimensions, pin sizes or finished lengths need to be matched.
Standing rigging should be inspected regularly. Check the wire and terminal fittings for signs of damage such as broken wires, kinks, distortion, corrosion, cracking or excessive wear.
Pay particular attention to the areas where the wire enters a terminal and to attachment points at the mast and deck.
If you are unsure whether your existing rigging should be replaced, contact our rigging team for advice before ordering.
If you are unsure about the wire diameter, finished length or terminal type required, send us photographs and measurements or arrange to send your existing rigging to us.
