Seldén Furlex 304E for 8mm and 10mm Forestays

The Furlex 304E is the larger of Seldén's 204E/304E electric furling systems and is configured for 8mm or 10mm stainless-steel forestays. It combines the Furlex luff-extrusion and forestay system with an electric drive rated to a maximum torque of 90 Nm.

Two-speed operation allows the drive speed to be selected to suit normal furling or more controlled reefing. The electrical system is designed to operate from a yacht with a 12V or 24V supply through the appropriate Seldén power-supply equipment.

Available Furlex 304E assemblies

The rigging-screw version allows forestay adjustment through the Furlex installation while the swaged-terminal option is intended for a professionally manufactured forestay.

204E or 304E?

Forestay diameter is one of the key differences between the systems. The 204E range covers 6-8mm wire, whereas the 304E covers 8mm and 10mm wire. Forestay length and termination must also be checked before ordering.
