Bronze, like stainless steel, is very strong and highly resistant to corrosion. By making the body of the rigging screw in chrome plated aluminium bronze and the terminals in high grade marine stainless steel, we have reduced the risk of the thread seizing up under heavy loads. A design feature which gives you a product that performs better and lasts even longer.
This rigging screw has a fixed machined fork with pin at one end and a stud for specific wire diameters at the other end. Check the wire and pin sizes are correct for your requirements.

Fork/Stud Selden Bronze Rigging Screws are essential components in marine rigging, offering durability, corrosion resistance, and reliability in high-load environments. These rigging screws are widely used in sailing and architectural rigging due to their superior material properties and design.
Selden Bronze Rigging Screws are crafted from chrome-plated aluminum bronze for the body and high-grade marine stainless steel for the terminals. This combination ensures:
High strength comparable to stainless steel.
Exceptional corrosion resistance, making them ideal for marine applications.
Reduced risk of thread seizure under heavy loads, enhancing longevity and performance.
The Fork/Stud configuration consists of:
A fixed machined fork with a pin at one end.
A stud designed for specific wire diameters at the other end.
This design allows for secure attachment to rigging systems while providing adjustability for tensioning cables and wires.
These rigging screws are commonly used in:
Marine rigging for sailboats and yachts.
Architectural rigging for tensioned cables in structures.
Industrial applications requiring high-strength tensioning components.
Fork/Stud Selden Bronze Rigging Screws come in various sizes to accommodate different wire diameters and thread sizes. Some common specifications include:
Wire diameters ranging from 3mm to 14mm.
Thread sizes such as 1/4", 3/4", and 7/8".
Pin diameters tailored to specific rigging requirements.
To ensure optimal performance:
Regular lubrication with rigging screw oil prevents thread seizure.
Periodic inspections help detect wear and corrosion.
Proper installation ensures maximum load-bearing capacity.
Fork/Stud Selden Bronze Rigging Screws are a premium choice for marine and architectural rigging, offering strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. Their innovative design minimizes thread seizure, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding environments.
