Bronze, like stainless steel, is very strong and highly resistant to corrosion. By making the body of the rigging screw in chrome plated aluminium bronze and the terminals in high grade marine stainless steel the risk of the thread seizing up under heavy loads is reduced. A design feature which gives you a product that performs better and lasts even longer.
This rigging screw has a fork at one end, and a Stemball at the other. Check the thread, pin and Stemball sizes are correct for your requirements.

Stemball/Fork Selden Bronze Rigging Screws are high-performance tensioning components used in marine and architectural rigging. Their chrome-plated aluminum bronze body and marine-grade stainless steel terminals provide exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. The stemball/fork configuration offers secure attachment and flexibility, making them ideal for various rigging applications.
These rigging screws are designed with:
Chrome-plated aluminum bronze for the body, ensuring high durability and resistance to corrosion.
Marine-grade stainless steel terminals, reducing the risk of thread seizure under heavy loads.
This combination results in a long-lasting, high-performance rigging screw suitable for demanding environments.
The Stemball/Fork configuration consists of:
A stemball terminal at one end, designed for secure wire termination.
A fork terminal at the other end, allowing for easy attachment to rigging points.
This design is particularly useful in applications where rigging angles need precise control, such as sailboat rigging and architectural tensioning systems.
Stemball/Fork Selden Bronze Rigging Screws are commonly used in:
Marine rigging, particularly for sailboats and yachts.
Architectural tensioning systems, where flexibility is required.
Industrial applications, where high-strength tensioning is necessary.
These rigging screws come in various sizes to accommodate different wire diameters and thread sizes. Some common specifications include:
Thread sizes ranging from 1/4" to 5/8".
Pin diameters from 6.50mm to 15.80mm.
Breaking loads varying from 1,550kg to 9,500kg, depending on size.
To ensure optimal performance:
Regular lubrication with rigging screw oil prevents thread seizure.
Periodic inspections help detect wear and corrosion.
Proper installation ensures maximum load-bearing capacity.
Stemball/Fork Selden Bronze Rigging Screws are a premium choice for marine and architectural rigging, offering strength, durability, and secure attachment. Their innovative design minimizes thread seizure while allowing for precise tensioning, ensuring long-lasting performance in demanding environments
