The Seldén Solo complete boom uses the stiff, lightweight Olympus section developed for competitive Solo sailing. Manufactured from Seldén XPS aluminium, the section is designed to provide a high stiffness-to-weight ratio while remaining within Solo class requirements. The boom is supplied ready for racing with a high-load kicker slide, mainsheet attachment slides and a deck protector, leaving the sailor to fit the outhaul arrangement of choice. An appropriate replacement or upgrade for Solo sailors looking for a complete current-specification Seldén boom rather than a bare extrusion.
