The Grand Soleil 46 LC rigging guide is designed to help owners scope a replacement project before any parts are manufactured. Winch guidance is kept as an optional deck-equipment item, which helps distinguish a core re-rig from upgrades that may be desirable but are not essential to the stay set. Factory options and later refits can produce meaningful differences between sisterships, particularly around the forestay, furler, mast terminals and lower attachment points. A reliable production schedule should record stay count, wire or rod size, finished dimensions, mast terminals, chainplate pins, turnbuckle threads and the forestay connection through the fitted furler.
