The Bowman 57/58 rigging guide is designed to help owners scope a replacement project before any parts are manufactured. Winch guidance is kept as an optional deck-equipment item, which helps distinguish a core re-rig from upgrades that may be desirable but are not essential to the stay set. The existing yacht should therefore take priority over any generic model assumption, especially where a mast, furler or set of rigging screws has been replaced before. Where measurements are being supplied remotely, clear photographs of every upper and lower termination should accompany the finished lengths, wire sizes, pin diameters and rigging-screw details.
