The Westerly Nomad 22 guide helps owners decide what may need replacing, what can be priced indicatively and what still needs measuring. The running-rigging table gives a separate starting point for halyards and sheets, so rope replacement can be planned without confusing it with the standing-rigging specification. Changes made during earlier refits are often found at the ends of the stays rather than in the wire itself, which is why terminal style, pin size and turnbuckle thread need checking. The lowest-risk approach is to verify the complete existing set: stay count, material, diameter, finished length, terminals, pins, rigging screws and all forestay/furling interfaces.
