The Moody 34 is a British-built Bill Dixon cruising design from the 1980s. Its masthead-sloop rig makes it a useful model for planning a complete standing-rigging replacement, but the age of these yachts and the likelihood of previous refits mean original specifications should not be assumed to remain unchanged. Our database provides indicative standing rigging sizes, replacement costs and associated furler, kicker and running-rigging guidance. Before manufacture, we recommend checking each stay's wire diameter and finished length together with mast terminals, chainplate connections, rigging screw threads and the existing forestay and furler arrangement.
