Hunter 44 DS uses a B&R-style rig, so its standing-rigging layout should not be treated like that of a conventional masthead cruiser. Our model data records 13.17 m LOA and introduced in 2004. For replacement work, the diagonal and shroud layout, spreader geometry and the presence or absence of a conventional backstay need checking on the actual yacht. Wire diameters, finished lengths, mast terminal styles, chainplate pins and rigging-screw threads should then be confirmed, together with the forestay and any fitted headsail furling system.
