For the Bavaria 37 Cruiser, the information below is intended as a model-level planning tool rather than a substitute for checking the rig actually fitted to the yacht. The running-rigging table gives a separate starting point for halyards and sheets, so rope replacement can be planned without confusing it with the standing-rigging specification. Previous rigging work can alter terminals, rigging screws, mast fittings or the forestay arrangement even when the basic yacht model has not changed. To turn the model guide into a manufacturing specification, measure the existing stays and confirm terminal forms, pin sizes, turnbuckle threads and the exact way the forestay connects to the furler.
