The Contest 35 rigging guide is designed to help owners scope a replacement project before any parts are manufactured. The furler section is useful for checking whether the existing forestay system should be retained, replaced or considered alongside a wider furling upgrade. Previous rigging work can alter terminals, rigging screws, mast fittings or the forestay arrangement even when the basic yacht model has not changed. The final check should identify each stay individually and capture wire size, finished length, terminal geometry, pin diameters, rigging screws and any furler components that determine the forestay length.
